Truck trailer maker Wabash National Corp. has received an order for 3,100 units, the biggest deal in four years since the global recession began to hit the logistics industry. Arizona-based Swift Transportation, one of the biggest trucking companies in the country with more than 45,000 trailers in its fleet, placed the order with Wabash for 3,100 trailers to be manufactured over the next year.
